Infrastructure

Gup is built on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit for traffic between your site, our servers, and your dashboard.

Data location

Primary conversation and account data is stored in Supabase in Singapore (Southeast Asia / ap-southeast-1). AI chat and embeddings run on Google Vertex AI in asia-southeast1 (Singapore). The dashboard app is hosted on Vercel; request handling may occur in multiple regions. See our Privacy Policy and DPA for sub-processors.

AI model training

Runtime chat and embeddings use Google Vertex AI. Under Google Cloud’s Service Specific Terms (Training Restriction), Google does not use Vertex customer data to train or fine-tune AI/ML models without prior permission. Gup does not use your or your shoppers’ conversation content to train foundation models.

Access control

Account access is protected by authentication through Supabase, and dashboard access is scoped to your workspace.

Data handling

Knowledge sources you connect are used only to power your own agent's answers and are not shared across accounts.
